Call to Prayer
"Ask God for a
desire to be in His presence. Go past asking for things.
Break through to the seeking
level - for Him, for His heart, His
revelation. When you break through, you'll learn the heart of God
for your city. We need the Holy Spirit, not
strategies." Ask yourself , "What is it in my life that will hold back the
Spirit of God?" (John Mulinde from Uganda)
"Father, we
bless you! Thank you for not withholding your own Son that we
night be saved, that we might have life and even that we might have life
abundantly! Father, we come boldly to the throne of your grace to
ask for grace in time of need and we give you thanks and praise for
making this approach to you and your grace available to us through
Christ Jesus! Blessed be your name forever! Father, this is
the grace we ask for now - we ask that you would rise up among us and do
amazing and mighty things - even things that are visible in the
eyes of everyone. We ask you to do marvelous miracles, healings
and deliverances, and give us more of your joy. Pour out your
Spirit upon us and grant us the strongest encouragements and the renewal
of our minds. Father, pour out the Holy Spirit upon every one who
is reading this and who is praying for the perfect fulfillment of your
will and your works among us and grant the inspiration of the Holy
Spirit for each one praying. We thank you; we praise you. We
are forever grateful to you that you, who gave Jesus for us for the
forgiveness of our sins, also will give us gladly and freely so much
more! We ask You to do these things in the name of Jesus. We
thank you, Lord Jesus for making it possible of us to come boldly and
ask anything in your name! We praise you Lord! Amen."

prayer needs which we feel the Lord is calling us to respond to at
this time:

For our Pastor
and church leaders
*Refreshing and
renewal
*Clear leading of the Holy
Spirit to bring forth the NOW word of the Lord for this body.
*Protection in spiritual
warfare
*Stir up the gifts of the
Holy Spirit, more anointing and power to do Kingdom works
*Release a distinct sound
& battle cry
*Godly character
reproduced in the children
-
For our local
church
*Favor
with the finances so
that ministry will be unhindered.
*Jobs
for those families who have are in need of work, finances for families in
need.
*Laborers
for ministry needs - especially for
children's church.
*Musicians, singers, intercessors for IHOP
*Preach, teach,
proclaim, and live the gospel in a way that confronts people with
truth.
*Revive His people in our church
body so that we can more fully step into the life of Jesus
Christ
which brings
new freedom, new empowerment, new understanding of his heart for us.
*Use VCC as a womb to
birth many into the kingdom - save unsaved spouses,
children, family and
neighbors and restore those who have departed from their faith in
Jesus, and to raise up ministries to
advance the kingdom of God
*Fit and place people
rightly - to accomplish the fullness of God's purposes for this
people
*Enlarged
boundaries for our church.
*Dependence on the
Holy Spirit for we are weak.
*Release prophetic
apostolic preaching of the Word of the Lord.
*Release of the
fire of the Lord in our midst.
*Increase of
leaders to raise up and facilitate new ministries
For the great
state of WV
*Fulfillment of
God's purposes and destiny
*Use us to
demonstrate the kindness and beauty of the Lord
*Overcome poverty
and depression
*Release
of revival power leading to a
great awakening to the presence of God
*Spiritual
warriors to come forth in tenacity to fight the good fight of faith
until the
victory
is won for the fulfillment of God's purposes for WV- as we trust the
Lord completely
*Raise up more International Houses of Prayer
throughout the state
to facilitate 24\7 worship and intercession
*Raise up Healing
Rooms throughout the state to facilitate praying for the sick
*End abortion in
WV, end gambling of all kinds, new job opportunities. For our
President and our nation
*President
Bush to be guided by the Holy Spirit as he makes
critical decisions concerning our nation.
*Pray that all hindrances
be removed.
*Plots of terrorism
to be uncovered and thwarted.
*Wise counsel and
keen discernment with national and international issues
*Appointment of
righteous judges to federal courts and the US Supreme Court; Senate approval of these
judges
*Prayer restored to
our public schools
*Progressively
eradicate abortion
*Fulfillment of
the godly destiny of this nation
*Awakening to the
presence of God
*Godly, wise
person to be elected as President this year - to confront the
pressing issues of our times; Godly
Senators and Congressmen to be elected. War on Terror
*Do
not submit to fear. Terrorism is fear. (2 Kings 6:16, 1
John 4:18)
*Ask God for divine,
supernatural protection for the military and for all areas of this
nation which would be
targeted for attack. (1 Kings 6:17))
*Ask God to send
division, lying spirits, and confusion among the terrorist camps. (1
Kings 22:13-28))
*Ask God to reveal
what is being said in the terrorists' secret meetings and in their
own private time.

6:8-12, Daniel 2:28, Deuteronomy 29:29)
*Ask God to
cause blind spots to arise in the terrorists' strategy. (2 Kings
6:18)
*Ask God to
cause them to fall into traps and to use inaccurate
intelligence. (2 Kings 6:19-20, Proverbs 28:10)
*Stop the
cycle of blood vengeance. (2 Kings 6:21-23
