The Healing Rooms of Greater Charleston will provide a loving, safe, confidential environment where people can come to receive healing prayer. We believe that God wants people healed and made whole in their spirit, soul, and body. Some who come will be healed instantly by a miraculous touch from God. Others will receive their healing progressively over a period of days, weeks or months. We are committed to pray for those who come and contend for their healing until they are completely well!
We believe, as Hebrews 13:8 states, that "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever". When Jesus walked on earth, he touched and healed those broken in body and oppressed by the evil one. He also empowered and authorized his followers to do the very same. We believe He is the same today and still does these things. We pray with that understanding and in the powerful name of Jesus. We believe according to Isaiah 53:4-5, that Jesus paid for our healing on the cross. "Surely He has borne our grief and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed."
If you are desirous of bringing the healing power and compassion of Jesus to those who are in need of healing and if you would like to be a part of a healing team at the Healing Rooms of Greater Charleston, please contact us. We will be providing training to equip you with the basic skills necessary to be a part of a healing team. Training dates will be posted on our website.
The Healing Rooms of Greater Charleston is part of the International Association of Healing Rooms. It is our desire to see Healing Rooms raised up in cities all across the state of West Virginia.
Deborah Letourneau is the director of the Healing Rooms of Greater Charleston. Deborah and
her husband Rick live in Scott Depot, WV and are active members of
Vineyard Church. Deborah served for fifteen year on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ. For twelve of those she lived and ministered in Europe . She then served six years on the pastoral staff at the Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Anaheim, CA. Deborah's heart is to see the healing power of Jesus brought to the lives of the sick and oppressed. Rick Letourneau is the president of the Board of Directors for the Healing Rooms of Greater Charleston.
